It is a snugger fit. It still fits for me, but I have a shaved head. There's not a lot of give to the fabric, but that might work for people. I think thinking of it as a LINING which is in the title is important. Read more

Wish it would have worked but the toggles, with how they are constructed, don't actually let you snug down the top and bottom at the same time. There should be a loop of elastic, so that when you pull it can tighten both areas, but since it's just sliding around on the elastic you kind of have to shove it up against one side or the other, meaning it's hard to get a good snug fit. The wind blows right in. Also, as other reviews have noted, it is quite a tight fit to get your face in it and back out. It's fine once you're in, but if they made it a little bit larger and it had an actual functional toggle it would have been more usable. Also, a minor issue but an annoying one, the hood shape is not at all rounded properly like the picture. It's a weirdly harsh squared off angle, which means you have this funky looking point at the back of the hood. The material feels like it would have been decent if you can get a good fit on it, but I can't really tell since we can't get a good fit. We are returning them because they don't work for us. Great snow and ski hoodie, soft on the inside, there are drawstrings on the sides to adjust the hood to fit around your face, and holds the mouth and nose section in place. Keeps your face, head, and neck warm. Read more

My grandson liked that it had a drawstring so he could tightness the hood at his face but I only gave it 4stars because before he even tried it on i noticed the seam across the top of the hood was separated but for me no big deal I'm able to put a few stitches in it and it will be better than new easier than sending it back and waiting for another one Read more
