I've seen similar floor "mats" when I pick my vehicle up at the dealership. Nice long and wide papers to prevent the mechanic's grease from getting onto my car floorboards. With winter blowing in I wanted to be prepared. These Balacoo paper foot mats are not as large as is needed. They cover 3/4 of the flat area for any seat's occupant's feet but not enough to go upwards for the front seats or really wide for the back seats. There's very little weight to them so with a gusty day and the doors open, they blow. They aren't as thick as the ones at the dealership which stay down. These are a combo of lightweight and small size so when they aren't caught by a gust of wind, they scoot from kids stepping on them. There is a shiny side to the footprint size. They are super disposable. For my driver's side, with wet sneakers on (no heavy treaded boots) the paper "mat" is already torn up from 2 errands. Good size for the floor of my suv. Spreads to cover all the places that I put my feet. I appreciate the rubber backing of each paper floor mat. It has some sort of grip but it’s not the best. The sheet still slips and slides while driving; but it doesn’t slip and slide as easy as others paper mats that don’t have the grip. The paper is great for rain, but not for oil. If there is oil on your shoe, it may bleed through the paper and get on the carpet. Read more
