As someone who wears leggings almost daily... I became very frustrated having to adjust mid work out because my “no show” undies always needed adjusting bc they would become twisted on the hip... they’re just not meant for the gym, or for high waist. That frustration began my search for higher cut undies to wear with high waist seamless leggings... ** some that were made well, comfy, & that wouldn’t show / need adjusting** After reading TONS of reviews, I am so happy I stumbled upon Balanced Tech. First of all, as someone who prefers “cheeky” vs a thong every day ... I would absolutely wear these thongs daily , they are SO COMFORTABLE & VERY FLATTERING. The material is a high quality stretchy fabric you would associate with athletic wear. Second... they are perfect for high waist seamless athletic leggings; they are high cut on the hip , therefore you don’t see them. I am very active in weight training... & these never need to be adjusted. I followed the advice of others and sized down — I am petite / athletic build - 24” waist (muscular lower body) ; I typically wear SMALL in “pink” but I sized down to an XS. This is by far the best panties I have ever had! I cannot say enough good things about them. I only wear thongs because they are comfortable for me, and I cannot stand "panty lines". I got medium even though I am quite small (5 ft, 125 lbs, athletic build, but a bit of extra weight due to lady hormonal issues). These are so comfortable, I never feel them while wearing. Never has a waistband been so soft and comfortable, and when it comes to the lady part area, there is enough coverage and comfort. Never an issue with these. I used to shop desperately for the old Vanity Fair and other brands bought at Nordstroms and other big stupid greedy stores. Couldn't find what I was looking for in thong comfort. Balanced Tech completely answered all my problems with panties. Super soft, super comfort. At my size, the "medium" waistband is at my belly button or just below. I forget where it is, actually, because they are so fantastically comfortable. I am slowly replacing all of my old stupid panties with this brand. The price is also fantastic. I will never buy another brand of thong panties again as long as these are around!. OK, I know it's weird for a guy to wear women's thong panties, but I've got a good excuse. I had a bad wreck that messed up my right SI joint and caused nerve damage that now makes it painful for me to wear men's underwear. My skin under the elastic waistband on my right side starts to burn and ache badly after an hour or so. To solve this problem, I look for woman's panties with a very high and wide waistband. Thong panties seem to work best, and I thought that I could wear these panties pain free. I'm able to pull their waistbands up much higher than men's underwear--up to my natural waist about belly-button high and well above the area on my right side that hurts from wearing men's underwear. Unfortunately, the waistband of these panties is not what I thought from the pictures. These panties do have the wide waistband that I wanted, but the waistband has a very narrow strip of elastic sewn into the middle of it. For me, that narrow strip of elastic was pulled too tight, and the waistband was uncomfortable, (though not actually painful to me like men's underwear.) Size XL, the largest, was a bit too tight for my 36" waist. If you are a woman who needs XL but has a smaller waist or less sensitivity to elastic than I have, these panties might be extremely comfortable for you as others report. I found them to be extremely comfortable below the waistband. They are amazingly stretchy, very light weight yet strong, and silky smooth. For starters, I'm a straight man and these are the first women's panties I've ordered and tried. I was fed up with how uncomfortable men's boxers, briefs and boxer-briefs were and decided to order a men's thong and try that but while reading reviews and reading the questions and answers section on some of them I kept coming across statements something like this: "Men's thongs are almost always uncomfortable due to being made out of the same crappy materials they make other men's underwear out of." and "The pouch in the front makes them feel floppy and look ridiculous unless you are quite 'large' down there." and "You're better off just getting some women's thongs that don't look feminine because they stretch more, are softer and there's way more choices in colors and styles.". So I ordered these (the light grey/black/dark grey ones) and I've had them for a short while now and honestly, they feel great. Very stretchy in the front panel so they hold everything in place nicely for a guy. Extremely comfortable even though this is the very first time I've ever worn a thong.
