This is a good and fair priced brand. I was a little worried these wouldn't fit right because I am slightly out of the sizing range, but they are only a little snug in the waist and the perfect length. So, probably true to size lol The fabric is thick and comfortable, the color and elasticity has survived a few washes already. These are hands down my new favorite pants. I waited until I washed them to leave this review.. they washed nicely. They are easily the most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever worn.. they are very soft on the inside and outside. I am 5 foot four and 160 pounds and I ordered a large with a 30 inch inseam regular fit. If you weigh less than 160 and are around the same height I think a medium would be best. The length and fit are both perfect for my current weight and height. I love the side pockets. What I love most about them is they have excellent tummy control even when you sit down. They are flattering.. I think for extremely cold weather I will wear thermals under them but these are great for chilly days. The material feels high quality and while they aren’t thick pants, they are thicker than any other leggings I own. I love these pants!!!! I bought these for a hiking/camping trip to the Pacific Northwest where temps were cool (50's) and I needed something practical and comfy to hike in. I ended up living in these - they are super soft and so comfortable. The fleece lining is perfect - not too thick or hot to be active in but enough to keep the chill and breeze off. The fabric also offers some degree of waterproofing as well, which came in handy when I was kayaking. The deep pockets are fantastic and there are plenty of them. The fit is really flattering with just enough stretch and compression and I love the crossover waistband. I'm 5'4" and 157 pounds - like all Baleaf products, the large is a perfect fit and the length is perfect as well - I got the regular length. The fabric is thick and substantial and very forgiving. So far they've washed up really well and there's no pilling.....I only put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes then hang to dry. I'm very impressed with this brand - everything I've bought from Baleaf performs well, has been nice fabric that has worn well and their sizing is consistent and flattering. Please note that these aren't just suitable for outdoor wear - they're fine to kick around in and look nice enough that they could even be dressed up a bit. 5’7”, 140 lbs. 67 yrs old, and very physically active with sports., and work daily. Would be better if 1” longer. Maybe carry regular length and long length. Otherwise these pants are great, they are warm, the quality is good, they’re not that pilling kind of polyester fabric, but a stronger kind of a very light soft shell. Liningmakes them nice and warm Their pockets are great, I can put my cell phone in the side pocket, so it doesn’t annoy me When I walk, and there are pockets that are covered so I can put my keys in there and not worried about losing them. I golfed in 35° weather and they were really cozy and warm. They look nice as well when I wore them to a meeting afterwards, so you can wear them all day with whatever activities you have, looks very professional at work as they have that nice boot cut Have recommended them to two other friends and send them to my daughter. I am 5.7 ft tall 125 lb. usually S to M (4-6 us size) I ordered M tal). it's a bit loose, but I actually like the fit as I plan to wear heattech underneath for traveling during winter. the slight v shape of the front side makes your body look more pretty in my opinion, but it won't shape or form your lower abdominal like some other brands e.g. Lululemon. It's the right amounts of thickness, warmth, and super comfy. good for the price range. it did not shrink after cold machine wash and line dry after. so far so good!! Read more
