I immediately noticed a difference within a few seconds of application. I have dermatitis and eczema that is severely itchy and painful. I have tried several different products, some natural and some prescriptions, including steroid creams. Some have worked okay but taken several days to clear up my skin. Others haven't worked at all to stop the intense itching, not even the prescription creams. This is the first that has worked so quickly to relive the itching and pain. After only 1-2 applications, my redness was gone and the itching almost non-existent. See the before and after photos. Some spots are extra stubborn, like those on my scalp, which need more than 2 applications to clear up. However, this makes the pain and itching much more bearable while waiting for the sores to go away completely. This is the first ointment that I only need to use a little for it to work. Many others I have gone through a whole container in less than a month. This product I have probably used about a quarter of the container so far. This means a lot to me because most of the natural salves are so expensive. Even though the price of this may seem high, it really isn't since it only takes a little to bring relief. And 4 oz is lasting me quite a long time. The scent is light and herbal/essential oil smelling. This is no problem for me because I like those scents and it's really light. Also, some products containing manuka honey have a really strong (almost unpleasant) smell - this one doesn't. It's very easy to apply. Just scoop a little onto your finger, then rub it in where you need it. I'm not sure how to describe the texture of the salve but I will try. I really like the feeling compared to some others I have tried. It's solid when you first open it. It will soften up with the warmth of your finger. It feels silky and smooth, and absorbs quickly. You can see a sheen on your skin which some people may call oily or greasy. But it's a very light feeling on my skin in my opinion. Some other salves I have used seem heavier and even waxy feeling. This does not. I definitely recommend trying this if you have itchy or painful skin. Or even just to have on hand for bug bites or cuts. The ingredients in this are really good for your skin health. Came here to reorder. This is probably the best product I found in a very long time. My daughter has severe eczema, and I have issues with it as well. Along with skin issues just in general. I apply this pretty liberally all over both her and myself depending on what we have going on. And it either minimize it or removes the issue completely probably within a 24 to 48 hour. If I am very consistent. I’ve also used it as a partial for my skin routine under the eye area, where I have some wrinkles and it has really brightened up my skin. Love this balm. I tend to get eczema on my hands in the cold winter months. After trying many over the counter products with few results, I decided to purchase this because of the healing properties of Manuka honey...and it is a natural product. It calms and soothes inflamed, cracked skin. After consistent use, I have noticed my hands are finally healing. Love the consistency, texture and natural scent. It spreads easily, you only need a little bit. The tin can packaging and graphics are also appealing and practical; and the size makes it easy to travel with. This stuff is pretty good. Smells nice, a lot like tea tree oil. I love the thickness of it from the tallow, that’s very important for me, and even though it’s greasy, it’s not too bad as it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. Used it for about 5 days, and when it’s applied my hands stay pretty moisturized for a few hours. It’s expensive, my only complaint. Good quality though. Read more

I bought this for my husband who has developed dry patches (?) on his elbows. The Dr said he thinks he has developed psoriasis and wanted to give him different prescriptions but they had potential harmful side effects so we said no. After using this balm, he has seen a lessening of bad flares. He's very happy about that. He says this balm is very soothing. There's a nice smell that fades after a few minutes. The balm really works for many hours. It absorbs well and is easy to apply. I would say that it's a great value. There are lotions and balms out there that are as/more expensive and don't soothe the skin like this product and wow let's talk about all the added water and other chemicals these other companies put in their products. This balm is the real thing and has no harmful chemicals just soothing relief. I'm glad for that! In fact, my husband liked it so much I also bought the frankincense & myrrh also. I have been using this for 3 months now and my eczema has never been this non existent since I have been diagnosed with it. I have been through so many medicated creams costing >1000$ each and they do nothing (and even burn when applying). This is more of an ointment texture so it seems to really penetrate my skin barrier and soak into my dry skin and eczema patches. I was worried that with the ointment consistency I would possibly break out but I have not. It does have an herbal smell but honestly it’s relaxing. I usually apply at night before bed and then use my lighter moisturizer for the day. Highly recommend for any eczema sufferers like myself. Read more
