The material is polyester and a little spandex, but it isn't stretchy. The waistband has no give at all. They are not hot, but they are not cool. The description says breathable but, it is polyester. The side pockets close with a dainty zipper and are big, very nice. (see pictures for measurements) They are side seam pockets, not bulky, and the stitching was done well so they lay flat in the seam. The back pockets are pseudopockets. Based on the pictures, (the model is only .5" taller than me - but she might have longer legs), I thought the pants would be a little shorter. But based on the size chart they are even shorter. Everything is smaller actually. See that below in the part about sizing. These are very comfortable; they don't discolor or deform in the washer or dryer. They don't wrinkle. That makes them nice travel slacks. Now to the bad part. Sizing. I am a little over 5'6", weigh 120lbs, 27" waist, 35" hips. I wear XS and S. The size chart says S is 4-6, 28.5 waist, 38" hip. For 110-120 lbs a partial fit, for 120-150 lbs a fit. I accidentally ordered Medium and it is a good thing I did. They fit perfect! I can not even imagine trying to get into the Small, and according to the chart Small would have possibly been too big! I ordered these for my wife. Here is what she has to say: These pants are well made and I like that they have zippered side pockets. The back pockets are faux pockets and cannot be used. The fabric these pants are made from feels closer to yoga pants than to dress pants, which makes them comfortable to wear and provides some stretch. However, this does give a more fitted look, so definitely check with your company's dress code to see if the form-fitted look of spandex is allowed. I like the high waist on these pants. I typically have to hem my dress pants as I am only 5'4" but these hit perfect for wearing with flats. I wear a size 6, so I ordered the small which the size chart says fits 4-6. When the pants arrived, the tag only says 4. If you are on the cusp of the sizing, I recommend you size up. I can get the pants on and they don't necessarily feel uncomfortable, but they are definitely too form fitting for my dress code. I may pair them with a long tunic in the winter, but they will not be suitable for my work otherwise. I anticipate the fabric attracting a lot of hair and lint. Read more

Update: Since I ordered these, the seller has updated the pictures and description. I updated my review to 4 stars. The pictures now match what I received. These have quickly become my go-to work pants. I wear them weekly. They launder well and I think they are flattering. I ordered a size L based on the size chart and the pants fit me well. Out of the bag, I was able to pull them on- before I noticed the 2 zippers. For some reason, there is a front fly zipper as well as a side hidden zipper. The waistband is pretty stiff and I noticed it cutting into my stomach over the course of the day (especially after lunch!). The pants themselves are very shiny polyester. That turned me off when I first received them, but the fabric is thick so it kind of balances. They don't look cheap anyway. In terms of length and style, the pants are full length on me (not ankle length as seen in the picture), and the legs are more straight, not skinny as seen. Overall, I would recommend this product, with the reservation that the style you get is not what is pictured. Read more

The spandex is key to the comfort, making these pants fit like a glove. At a current full size 6, I found the “Medium” size to be just perfect, while a “Small” would have been too tight. Even with a center zipper (I usually choose side) and pocket design ( I usually choose none), the pants still manage to maintain a streamlined look without adding any front bulk. Compared to other black designer dress pants I own that cost me twice as much as these are priced, these pants offer superior quality and durability. I'm always hesitant to order pants online, because you never know how they'll fit, but I like these pants. The fabric has a nice drape to it and doesn't wrinkle easily. I'm taking them on a cruise, and I think they will pack nicely. I usually wear an 8 or a 10, and the medium fits me well. They're a little snug in the waist for me, but the stretchy fabric has some forgiveness, so they will work. I am 5'5", and the length is perfect for me.
