Since I really like the bamboo yarn skullcap by the same brand, I decided to try out this bamboo viscose beanie for colder weather. It fits perfectly on a 22 1/2 inch head and stretches well. You can adjust the length. Since I do not like having extra room on top of the head, I wear it tightly, which is how I prefer to wear beanies. While the product details state that it is machine washable, the label says handwash and air or line dry. Usually, bamboo fabrics take more time to dry than cotton. Read more
Very soft fabric. The bamboo material provides the right amount of warmth, while still being lightweight enough to be breathable. Overall this is a great beanie. The fit is super stretchy comfortable and doesn’t feel too tight or too loose. Very soft bamboo fabric which feels nice on your head and not itchy. The design is also cool with contrasting patterns on the top and cuffed parts so it looks very stylish. But this beanie is definitely lightweight - which is great for running and hiking (how I plan to use it) but it might not be the best choice if you want something that’s really thick. Another bonus for it being lightweight is that I can keep it in my jacket pocket all the time without it feel heavy or bulky in my coat. This beanie held so much promise. I absolutely love beanies and I can only wear natural materials as they are more skin friendly. I was so excited to get this bamboo beanie that it was made in the USA as I like to support businesses at home when I can. This beanie is so thin, like paper. I can even see my fingers through it.
