This is a sturdy and substantial trash can that requires assembly. It took me around 10 minutes to assemble. It is a modern design, and I appreciate the curves on the top. This can hold a lot of trash and holds a bag easily. The color is modern and sophisticated, and the lines are nice, matching just about any decor. The brown tone is throughout and goes with my bedroom nicely. This reminds me of a hotel trash can, has a modern touch and adult vibe. This definitely makes my previous plastic trash can look like it needs to also be replaced, this is a modern receptacle that makes you want to match your room aesthetically with similar pieces and a plastic trash can, just no longer goes when you have a deluxe receptacle like this. While it's made of bamboo and not walnut, this wooden waste bin has made an attractive addition to my home office, where I have been holding onto the same, worn-out waste bin for two decades. This new trash can comes as a flat-pack, which means assembly is necessary. It wasn't difficult and took only a few minutes, but I think the bin would have looked better if assembled in a factory and delivered that way. Screw heads from the assembly are visible on the sides once the bin is put together, and the edges aren't as neatly mated from my efforts as I believe they would be with factory assembly. Still it's nice to have an accessory that is made of solid wood instead of particle board or plastic. The size is good, not huge, but it holds enough and will fit into a lot of different crooks and crannies if you are low on space. My only real criticism is that the bin does not come with foot pads or felt floor protectors. My floor is saltillo tile and doesn't scratch easily, but I imagine anyone with a hardwood floor is going to want to use something to prevent marks on their floor's surface. Read more
