Seems like they are better tools for the job

It's really not bad. It's sort of one of those things where like where am I going to put this/ where am I going to store this when I'm not using it? Unless you have a lot of space I wouldn't bother getting something like this for your matcha. I'm not sure maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but I seem to get the exact same results from using a normal metal whisk if not better results and the whisk is easier to clean than the wooden frother thingy. None of the other accoutrements seem necessary either. Generally there's nothing wrong with this it is what it is but I would skip it if I just value utility and not having clutter in my kitchen.
