Someone is going to set up an intervention if I keep talking about this sunscreen. I just love it so much, I have two very pale kids and a very sunny summer, and I never trusted that I was getting enough sunscreen on them with the aerosols and felt like I had to reapply constantly. With this, I feel like it’s easy to control. I can see it going on there and I’m comfortable letting them play for the full 90 mins before we reapply. There are a lot of complaints about the sprayer not working, but you really gotta shake it - recall it is using pressure not aerosol. I’ve been able to use the refills a couple times! Read more
Bought this for my granddaughters. They just bought a home with a pool. This sun block spray worked great. No sun damage or burns. Great for Littles. I would recommend this to parents with little ones. Read more
The sunblock itself is excellent, but the sprayer leaves much to be desired. It consistently malfunctions—often requiring shaking, tapping, or even opening and closing the bottle just to get it to mist properly, and this happens every time I use it. I prefer mist formats over aerosol, but unless Banana Boat resolves this spray issue, I won’t be repurchasing. Read more
The sunscreen is fine. No sunburns after long hours in the sun. However as a few others have stated the sprayer stopped working. I had to dump out the liquid into my hands to apply and eventually had to buy new sunscreen because I couldn’t get the sprayer to work at all no matter what I did. When it works it’s great but the fact that it’s so inconsistent I wouldn’t recommend or buy again. Read more
The spray nozzle of this sunscreen almost immediately broke, only on my second use which left me the rest of the week of vacation with a lot of sunscreen/refills I bought and wanted to use. I put the sunscreen in a regular spray bottle, I did like the actual sunscreen but I feel like so much was wasted because it wasn’t applied in the intended way. Will not repurchase unless they change the design of this sunscreen applicator. Read more
I find I prefer this spray bottle to the typical aerosol can. You can detach the nozzle and reapply the cap and pack it in luggage and not really have to worry about it. It wasn't always the case with the aerosol can. Other that that, it's a standard SPF 50 like Banana Boats other kids products. The price seems a lot higher for this and the sunscreen is thinner than the squeeze bottle (obviously), so you're probably paying an additional premium because you have to use more of it each application. But we pay for the convenience, I guess. Refills run about $10 and we're halfway through a bottle after about a month. Read more
