Bought this as an alternative to aerosol canisters. The aerosol cans just seem to not last long and let’s try to be more environmentally friendly. Good solid long spray. Worked at any angle as I tried. Safety lock so it won’t accidentally spray in your bag. I’ve switched. Way better than a finger pump action. These are my official new go to. Won’t use any others now. It worked OK at the beginning. It is kind of hard to get used to because it sprays for maybe 5 seconds whether you are squeezing the lever or not. Now it has stopped spraying and we have only made it through 3/4 of the first bottle. We still have the entire refill left. We are now using it by dumping it in our hands and spreading it around. My daughters are allergic to the component for aerosol sprays. When Banana Boat came out with this spray sunscreen it was a home run! We wanted an easier way to apply sunscreen without all the white thick sunscreen. We notice we have less places on our body we miss with this spray. Please note that it takes a little getting use to for control of the spray. I also recommend that you not spray it inside. The spray is light and not greasy at all. Read more

We bought these for a beach vacation because we knew we couldn't fly with aerosol cans. I have many allergies and Banana Boat is one of the few sunscreens that doesn't cause me to break out in hives. I researched ahead of time to see if the stores where we were vacationing would carry brands of sunscreen I knew I could reliably use without an allergic reaction. When it became clear I couldn't, I decided this product would be perfect to travel on flights with. How wrong I was. We arrived at our destination and got ready to go spend time soaking up the sun on the beach. As we tried to apply this sunscreen, we quickly realized the sprayer wouldn't work beyond 10 or so spray attempts. We ended up applying the sunscreen by pouring it into our hands. The next day we tried using the spray pump again and it only worked for 5ish sprays and then quit. We ended up going to a grocery store and buying a little spray bottle for watering succulents. That spray bottle worked perfectly and saved our vacation. We were able to use the sunscreen only because we bought another spray bottle to use it with. Read more

I am a fair skin red head, I use sunblock daily in the summer. This is fantastic because my girlfriend hates aerosol. So this makes me feel better about the environment, and better about leaving it in the car on hot days. It didn’t explode in the car, but it did melt the plastic top. I was able to still use the spray feature but due to the top melting when I replaced it, the spray feature no longer worked. Therefore I was unable to use the refill. I would recommend keeping it in your house, and just taking it out when you need it. If you use it that way it will last and work great for you. Read more
