Where has this cleaner been all my life? I got it after seeing it recommended for cleaning RV exhaust tip chrome. I must say I was skeptical since an other cleaner specifically design for chrome did nothing. The recommendation was to 'wad' up some aluminum foil, put the cleaner on the aluminum foil wad and rub on the chrome tip. All I can say is I was amazed! However, as stainless steel newbies - we burned our food and had the HARDEST time removing the stains from our pot. I tried baking soda & heating it on the stove and scrubbed it for a few days with no success. We were so tired of the stains that we considered returning our All-Clad collection (LOL). Then thanks to the internet we discovered Bar Keepers friend. Upon my first impression - so far so good, the only reason why I took a star off is because I had a hard time removing the stains around the bolt. Maybe I should switch to a different sponge. We use this product all the time now. Bought it when my husband "ruined" one of my expensive cookware pots. A friend told to this product to get it totally clean. It worked. Cleaned the pot like it was new. Its easy to use, you may have to use a little bit of elbow grease on bad cooked on stains, but its effective, fast and safe on the pots and pans.
