He has played with it every day since he got it. It's a larger ball and it is heavy and hard The outside is rubber coated. I wasn't sure when I opened it, that it was something he would chew. But he did, for hours. I kept listening for the sound of breaking plastic, but it stood up. It makes several fun sounds as it rolls. It doesn't require batteries, nor do you have to charge it. Most of the "indestructible" toys I've ordered last a day, if that. I give it 5 stars because it lives up to it's description. Read more

We got this for our dog--a Great Dane mutt who likes to chew--as a Christmas present. It didn't take her long to start chewing the black layer of rubber off, then she got it off completely and then she destroyed the noisemaker ball. It sounded like a great idea for our dog, she definitely liked the noisemaker, but she really, really likes to chew things, thankfully, she just shreds and spits out what she chews up and she did not ingest any of the rubber covering. If your dog is a major chewer, this is NOT the toy for them. If your dog likes to chase things and likes noisemakers and is not a chewer, this could be a really fun toy that lasts for a long time. Description is very misleading

I have a lab/rot pup 9mos old. This ball was swapped out with other toys so it was not his primary toy. Once he was able to hook his teeth into and under the rubber it took approximately 3 minutes to break thru the "almost "indestructible material. A complete disappointment and even more so, waste of money. Definitely not for large breed pups. I am with him during his activity time, so it's not like he was unsupervised with the ball. Poorly designed, would not recommend for any dog, except for a poodle to use as a pillow. Read more

My dog would prefer a squeaky tennis ball you throw. She's smallish - 18 lbs - so she can't pick this ball up in her mouth. She bats it around, bites it and growls at it when she plays. It's not her favorite toy, she prefers interactive toys, but she does play with this and it's held up well. She usually destroys other toys but this one is in good condition. Read more
