Last a while. Will be buying more toys soon.
Best dog toy I have ever bought. I have three dogs, two at the time I bought this toy. It took them over a year to break through the first layer. The flower comes off first so be careful your dog doesn't swallow it. It still has the second layer so it still looks like a cactus. No stuffing to clean up when they tear into it, which makes it far less messy than other toys. One of my dogs is obsessed with fetch so I use it like a ball inside. The oval shape makes it hard to ensure when it bounces that it will bounce straight. It's bounced into walls and other stuff that I wasn't intending it to hit. Not much of a squeak so I can let them play with it for hours and I don't get annoyed with the noise. Great toy that lasts a while. Read more

Hasn't been destroyed yet
My dog usually destroys plush toys in a matter of minutes. The flower on top and some of the black spikes didn't last very long but the rest of it is still going. I got another one during prime days just to have it for when this one finally does bite the dust. Very happy with this. Read more
Incessant Squeaking
This has lasted a long time. I have a corgi/border collie mix, and she loves chewing on things. She destroys even the “tough, long lasting” toys within minutes. The only issue I have with it is that the squeaker is still alive. Incessant squeaking all day long is my new reality. She has refused to utterly destroy the ball at the center of the cactus. Durable and great for chewing
This has been great with my golden. While she tore the outside layer off in a week, the hard ball inside still remains intact. Would love to find a stuffy that is indestructible for my dog. Read more
Usually durable but small
Our dog who usually destroys toys in minutes was overjoyed in his first encounter with this toy. He loves to make it squeak by putting it entirely in his mouth.
