This was way more than I wanted or planned to spend but I couldn't find anything in the local stores that appealed to me. Amazon being so good with returns I decided to chance it and am I ever glad I did! This is a beautiful lamp, attractively unique, easy to assemble and HEAVY! You won't bump into this and tip it over. The drum style shade with its metal trim is different and the night light bulb in the lantern part can be used alone or with the top light. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great utility and/or accent lamp. Read more

Arrived earlier than expected (Thank You). The packaging is perfect to prevent damage in shipping. I was able to unpack and assemble in less than 10 minutes. The weight and sturdiness are exactly what we were looking for in a floor lamp and the rustic design is perfect to match our decor. Recommend using both hands to thread the cord through the base (one feeding from top and one gently pulling from bottom) so as not to bind it up or damage the cord. The night light provides perfect lighting for nighttime reading and is nice to look at too. The shade framing is more sturdy than anything I saw in the furniture stores. Read more
I have been looking for a floor lamp that had a rustic look to it. This is a very well made lamp and has a little weight to it so it's not easy to knock over. The first one I received had a manufacturing defect. We sent it back and had the replacement within days! The service was absolutely awesome! You will not be disappointed in this lamp.
