This is an attractive, well-made floor mat for use under a desk chair as shown in the photo. The espresso color is a pleasing black/brown mix that coordinates with everything. It came tightly rolled with a strong outer sleeve preventing inadvertent unrolling. Once freed from the sleeve the first thing we noted was that it had NO ODOR – a definite plus! When unrolled and placed on the floor it let go of the roll fairly quickly - placing some heavy books on the edges overnight assured uniform flatness. The mat has a nice weave pattern and is relatively thin but provides good protection to a hard floor. The underside is lightly cushioned, enabling it to be moved easily without potential scratching of the floor. I recommend this mat and would buy it again. Read more
