I bought these to use in a photographic project and figured when that was done I'd use them to replace the fluorescents in my basement. These lights are great. Not only do they have selectable color temp settings on the exterior, but they also have a brightness selector on the exterior. I note "exterior" because on some fixtures you can't make these changes once installed...if they are even available. With these you can easily change them, and the switches are small and not visually obtrusive. Lastly these lights are REALLY bright and uniform across the panel. I installed these lights in my garage, replacing the cheap "builder grade" fluorescent fixtures that were there when we moved in. Wow! What an improvement! Especially since your can adjust the brightness, and more importantly, the "color temperature" made it easy to get the look I wanted. And also, WOW these things can be bright is you want them to. The media could not be loaded. Does not work with Kasa (TP-link) dimmer switch, flicker, and humming sound when at a lower level than 100% brightness. The Casing is so thin that the screws that hold the hooks were stripped when installed in the factory and came off. When attaching the unit to the bracket, side screws need to be loosened and forcibly place over the tract, its not possible to slide the unit to the tracks on the bracket. Read more

My partner and I replaced my old, dim lights in my grooming van with these Barrina lights. They were fairly easy to install. I absolutely love them, they definitely brightened up my work space. The different light settings are great. I have other Barrina grow lights that I use for my plants and love so I was excited to find these! These lights are very bright. They are very thin and can be flush mounted or in a drop ceiling. The brightness is adjustable and the light color can be changed. Originally I was going to use them for kitchen lighting but after reading other reviews I think I will use them as grow lights. For what they do, they are reasonably priced. Read more

The light is very bright but it is diffused so it does not hurt your eyes. But it lights up the room very well compared to the old flourescent lights that were in my garage. I like the option to adjust the color temperature and the brightness. It was pretty easy to install with some basic carpentry and electrical skills. Read more
