I absolutely love this band! I purchased my first of these bands over a year ago, and bought two other colors. I have brown, blue and red ones. Of all of the bands I have bought for Apple watches, these are my favorite by far. Having worn them all for more than a year (I rotate my bands to match what I am wearing that day), they all are still going strong and have lasted with no defects. The leather is genuine inside and out, these bands never get hot or sweaty and the very high quality leather over time develops an attractive patina. If you are considering one of these, get it! This is my first Barton band. I knew they were good quality and when saw these racing style bands I pulled the trigger. The leather is nice and soft right out of the packaging, unlike other bands that feel rigid and need a longer break-in time. I wear my watch all day and didn't have any discomfort. The color is true to the product pictures (depending on your device, of course). I have thin wrists and didn't need to use the last one to have it fit. The favorite part of this is that I didn't realize there are quick release tabs for the leather band itself so any 22mm band will fit. I think I'll keep this one on though. Read more

The color was actually a horrendous Merthiolate red. I’m going to keep it because I was able to adjust the color to a beautiful Cordovan color with a little shoe polish!!! Well worth the $ 12 for the polish . I think you can get it here. It turned out phenomenal looks like a very bespoke watch band. Even though I feel the color was misrepresented! The packaging could be better and include maintenance information. It’s your call but if you want that rich burgundy/cordovan color you’ll either have to look elsewhere or do what I did. Now for the quality.. it’s really nice and yes, real leather. Fits comfortably although a bit of a pain to take off. All in all if you get this in black or tan I think you’ll love it. Read more

I have a 41 mm Apple Watch, but a larger wrist (nearly 8 inches). It's been hard to find a band that fits. This band is excellent quality, soft, and feels like it will be durable. I ordered in two colors. It's more expensive, but well worth it! Read more

Bought this band, had it for a little under 6 months, noticed the bottom of my wrist started to get irritated. Wasn't sure what was causing it initially, thought it might be the leather, cleaned that, but it's the clasp aka hardware on the watch band. Some people are allergic to nickel and it turns out there's nickel in stainless steel (I didn't know until I googled 316L stainless steel) and also the irritation on my wrist is in the same shape as the clasp so that's a solid clue. I didn't know I was allergic to nickel. Sweat tends to make the nickel more reactive from what I was reading and I was sometimes working out with this watch on, so it definitely got sweaty. Anyway it's not a nightmare and the band is great, but heads up if you get this and your wrist gets irritated then it might be nickel allergy.
