Used the car cover during extreme heat and also extreme cold and it’s been doing good job protecting car even during the recent snow event. By the touch, car cover feels very thin and light; however, it did a good job during different weather conditions. The charging port has opening which can be covered through Velcro as seen in the picture. There are straps for each tires and one in the middle which goes underneath the car to the other side so it did a good job even in high winds. The media could not be loaded. This car cover gets the job done and fits my Tesla Model Y perfectly, but the process of using it could be improved. It took me about 5 minutes to get it on the car, but figuring out how to unfold it and identify the front and back was a bit of a challenge—it’s huge, and lugging it to the car was kind of awkward. Once I got it on, I found that the easiest way was to throw it on top of the car, pull the front down first, and then work on the back and sides. There are a bunch of straps that I don’t fully understand—some seem to be for wrapping around the wheels, and there’s a long strap with a parachute buckle that seems designed to secure it under the car. Personally, I think that strap is unnecessary, and the buckle kept hitting the car while I was trying to get the cover on. The material feels decent, but there are sewing errors and loose threads all over, which takes away from the overall quality. That said, once it’s on, it looks great and provides good coverage. I haven’t taken it off yet, but I can already tell folding it back up is going to be a hassle—it would be nice if they improved the design to make packing it up easier. Overall, it’s a solid product that works well, but I’d love to see better sewing, tougher fabric, and a more user-friendly design for both putting it on and packing it up. I'm not always able to find indoor parking for my model 3 and purchased this car cover for long term use. I've used other car covers but this car cover is better than previous ones. 1. This car cover fits very well with model 3 and has a good style. 2. Ventilation grille is useful for air circulation and battery conditioning. 3. I was able to easily charge my model 3 through the convenient zipper opening at the charging port 4. Material seems durable and water, dirt, and dust particle repellent. Read more

The front vents are smart because the fans on teslas come on at random times to cool the battery when your don’t driving. It was easy to stretch over the entire car. The quality of the material is high quality. The cover is easy to put on and take off. There are caution tape areas on the cover so your vehicle can be seen if your pulled over on a street or highway also. The media could not be loaded. I have had my Tesla for almost a year now, and have been a big fan of most the BASENOR products and accessories I have received for it. I was excited to try out the car cover as my car is black and dust/dirt show up easily, especially after washing it. I also wanted a way to protect my car from falling branches or other debris during the rainy seasons. The product came well packaged, and I could feel the quality and durability of the material right away. After opening the cover up fully, the reflective strips and side mirror pockets made it clear which way it should go. It really does fit like a glove and the material on the inner layer will not scratch up the paint. I also love the mesh opening in the front so the battery does not overheat. I live in an area where snow, sand and high winds are not too common, but I would feel confident in using the cover if I ever travel there. The straps along the bottom allow you to secure the cover even further in extreme conditions. The best part about the cover though, is the charging port opening which allows you to charge while not sacrificing protection at all. I am very satisfied with this product, and this just furthers the idea to look at BASENOR first for any Tesla accessories. I bought this because it was the only one I found with vents in the front and a charge port door. It fits very well and is snug with the elastic at the bottom. However the material is very thin and only a single layer. The inside is not soft like others I have bought. So you are basically wrapping your car with a custom fit tarp. Going to keep it because it’s not worth returning. Read more
