I use these regularly for various odd jobs, and they hold up great for my uses -- however, I wouldn't recommend using them for anything particularly rigorous (use heavy-duty gloves for those tasks). For things like dying hair and cleaning, though, these are perfect. They fit my tiny hands perfectly, they don't slide off, and they're easy to put on and take off. If I use them for anything particularly dirty or foul, I can easily remove them inside-out and tie them in a knot so the gross stuff is sealed inside the glove. Most importantly, they haven't ripped on me yet (though again, I don't use them for anything super vigorous); that's saying something, considering I have pretty long fingernails -- and I keep my nails in a square shape, so they're kind of sharp on the edges and could easily tear a crappy/thin elastic glove.
