For us this item is perfect, as the stalk that raises and lowers the old stopper broke off and we didn't want to replace the drain pipe. It seems well constructed and works well, I wish I had know about a year ago when the drain stopper first broke! Latest UPDATE: seller got right back to my via Amazon. They did so quickly, with respect and a fast resolution. I will try this company again. I initially started with 5 stars a month ago. Works great, looks great, drains 99% of the water. Easy to clean the yuck, and boy does it collect the yuck - does it’s intended job beyond. UPDATE: The silicone gasket that is between the drain and sink molds quickly. I’m having to spray with a bleach mix every week. The size I use, they include several sizes, is the only large one. There is not product support - at least at a month out. I’ll have to go through Amazon to see what they can do. I don’t want another one, this one works, just want more silicone rings. All of that said, I think I’d try another brand to see if this is an issue too. Unfortunately I purchased all three of mine from this manufacturer therefore have no comparisons. Read more

It works inasmuch as it stops the water from draining when needed, and it does collect hair and small objects (like my earring!)--for those things it works GREAT! The only issue I have is that it does leave a lip that causes a small amount water to pool in the basin--this is not a huge issue for me, but I have hard water, so this has caused a hard water ring to form low in the basin. It was super simple to install, just pull out the old plug and stick the new one in. All in all I'm happy with my purchase. Read more

I am very happy with this product. It appears to be high quality chromed steel. Just pull the original drain stopper out of the sink and drop the new stopper in. Press to close, press to open. Easy. Nice fit, drains quickly. One drawback, it sits on top of the drain, leaves a shallow pool of water in the sink. Let's see if the chrome lasts. Read more
