Appearance is exactly like the listing, though I don’t know that the photos do justice to the light shades. The shades are a natural fiber bright white - they appear delicate and balance the gold well. I suggest getting three E26 base dimmable bulbs to have when you set it up (if you have a dimmer switch). Simply because this gorgeous light changes its look (and the room’s aesthetic) depending on both the brightness of and color temperature of your bulbs. Really important to add that this is ETL listed. I prefer that for all my mounted fixtures (and lamps that may stay on overnight), for safety’s sake. Especially for bathroom and bedroom use. This light was a mystery. It had a short description when we ordered it but no picture. Turns out that we gambled and lost. Not because the fixture isn't beautiful because it very much IS, it's just that the gold color didn't go with the room for which we ordered it (we need either silver or a darker color). On that note, let me apologize for not having a picture of it installed because even though we DID try it, I forgot to snap a photo before we switched back to the old light. The fixture looked very nice, provided plenty of light (bulbs not included) and was mostly easy to install. It has a connecting bar that we needed to screw in to put the two pieces of the fixture together but that was pretty simple. I would say that the hardest part of the installation was the fact that the lights are run independently (not sure exactly how to say that...each light has it's own black and white wire and all the black wires have to be connected to a single (included) black wire and ditto for the white wires before they can be connected to the wiring that comes from the wall). The fixture is the perfect size for what we need, is sturdy, durable and just overall well built with what seems to be quality materials (the shades are especially beautiful and add a wonderful softness). Unfortunately for us, like I said, the light just didn't complement the colors in our bathroom so we couldn't leave it installed, but boy I wish we could have. Recommend. Read more

I couldn't attach a picture of his fixture yet, because I'm still in the middle of remodeling my bathroom and choosing between this fixture and another, but out of the box it is exactly what I was looking for with a triple lighting option. Even if I don't use this in my bathroom, I'll likely attach this in my laundry room over my folding table for the simple and elegant look. It's unobtrustive and doesn't take up a lot of focus because of the simple design, which is perfect since I wanted to draw attention to a pretty mirror or a more beautiful wall paper beneath or behind it.
