I’ve owned several French press coffee makers, and like the features and quality of this one. It’s very sturdy, works well, and has some minor features that enhance usability. These include a demarcation of the filter sweet spot, lines on the glass beaker as to the amount of water and the grounds required, and a protective sheathing on the beaker of hardened glass..They also provided extra filter in the event first one is lost or damaged, as sometimes happens. I used this to replace a drip coffee maker when I realized I simply wasn't drinking as much coffee as before and didn't want to have another counter-top appliance. This is a very nice quality product, easy to use and clean. It's not meant to keep coffee warm after brewing so you will want to move it to an insulated container if you're wanting to store it instead of immediately drink it. Perfect size for all of my insulated travel mugs (27 oz). It feels sufficiently durable and has made it through the dishwasher several times without me feeling like it's overly fragile. Read more

This French Press is beautiful and works well too. The glass is a nice thickness. Super easy to clean and the coffee tastes great. Just got this to take with me when I am traveling. Which I do a lot and want a nice cup of coffee that is strong. Beats the machines in hotel rooms and when I staying in various places they often don't have a coffee maker so this makes the day better when I start it with a hot cup of java! Read more

The media could not be loaded. Update: Manufacturer replaced French Press immediately without any back and forth. I'm a very impressed. Thank you for the prompt response! Initial Review: after using the Bayka French Press for 6 weeks the glass broke when pouring hot water in it. I believe this is a defect and I have emailed the manufacturer. Otherwise I am happy with the quality of the press and that no coffee grinds get into the brewed coffee. I will provide update when they respond. Read more

This is the best French press I’ve ever used. I love the look of it It’s very durable and the glass is thick enough. I don’t have to worry about it breaking or shattering. It’s pretty easy to clean and I’ve noticed with this French press coffee actually taste smoother and because it has the extra strainer piece no coffee grounds get through at all now obviously as time has passed. I’ve had this French press for probably three or four months now and I use it almost every day i’m starting to see baby grounds get into my cup of coffee, but it might be like one or two and that’s after I’ve used it so much. I’m very grateful for this French press and I will be re-purchasing another one from this company when it is time. Read more

The coffee is so good. Ì like the fact that I can clean this coffee carafe thoroughly. No water sitting in a resivor that you cant get to to scrub it out. I discontinued my one cup coffee maker just for that reason. Cleaning with a vinegar flush was not good enough in my opinion. It did make a good cup of coffee, but the thought of my coffee water sitting in slime was what made me look for a better way. I have had to work out how much coffee to use for my preference and adjust the amount, but I think I figured it out. Its a rich hot cup of coffee. I make enough so if I want another cup it is available. I find that reheating coffee made in a press has no bitterness to it. The coffee being kept warm on a burner gets bitter after awhile. It keeps a low profile in my kitchen, no clunky coffee maker taking upcouter space. So far I really am enjoying this method of coffee brewing. Read more

Very easy to use, coffee comes out richer than a drip machine, takes the same amount of time and just slightly more effort. Would purchase again; wish there was a larger capacity maker Read more

Unit itself is nice and it's a good size. I usually only make one cup of tea so it works great for that but I could easily fit three in this. I'm actually using it to press fresh herbs and make tea as opposed to coffee. It works great to strain and nothing gets through. My biggest complaint with this unit is like so many others you can't heat it up on the stove. This one. You truly cannot even warm on the stove because it has a plastic base which I was not expecting. It is easy enough to take apart the screens to rinse which I have to do often because the little bits of plant material do get stuck. I got it when it was on sale and for the price I'm pleased with it. Read more
