I purchased this instrument for my 11 year old daughter whom just started a band class. She picked this out and loves it. This was an excellent price for beginners. She puts it together and takes it apart to store it in the case that it comes in. The sound is amazing and great quality. I would recommend this beauty to anyone. Read more
An affordable low budget elementary level student clarinet. Comes in a soft carry case and overall lightweight for easy carrying to and from school/practice. This set comes with each piece individually wrapped and includes a cleaning kit. Ebonized wood for durable play which will help it to handle a little less graceful handling. This would be good for a beginner student. Please note that the main listing photo clearly shows two mouthpieces included in the full set of pieces, there is only one mouthpiece that comes with this set. No instruction are included for the beginner on how to piece together, so prior knowledge is needed or finding an online tutorial will be necessary to help learn the steps in assembling properly before play. You may need to help your child with fitting the pieces together assuring they are evenly snug and aligned properly. I would suggest researching a higher quality reed for use and possibly a step-up ligature to produce the best tone possible. Read more
