Bought this for my 15yo son to use in Amtgard, and it was a surprisingly good value. He never wants to take it off. It really looks cool and looks the part, but more importantly, it does so while also being comfortable and light, being mostly (or fully?) polyester. He's about 5'8" and 160ish pounds, and an XL fits him great. No too-long sleeves or anything. After reading other reviews, I decided to go down a size from what I normally wear. For reference, I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs, and I got a medium. It fits exactly right! If I'd gotten a large, the sleeves and overall length would be too long. Granted, it does take some shimmying to get my head and arms through, but once it's on, it's very comfortable and not too tight. Soft, light fabric too! Slap a belt around it and I think it'll make a fine addition to my renaissance faire outfit! Read more

I used it for a wizard costume, the length wa perfect and it breathed well. Only complaint were that the sleeves were a bit too short. All in all, would purchase again. Read more

It’s pretty light and breathy, but I will say it’s a bit too big. I wear a size large in most clothing nowadays, even if I’m on the skinnier side. But other things I’ve order large for have fit me real well. This tunic, on the other hand… it looks almost like some sort of D&D creature has swallowed me. It goes to about halfway down my shins and the sleeves reach to my knuckles. So I’d recommend maybe ordering a size smaller if you wear a large but are on the skinnier side of a large. Read more

This item came very handy when putting together a last minute cosplay for a D&D photo shoot. It looks very nice and does its job. I only wish it weren't polyester as it tends to be shiny looking. But again was last minute and it helped where I needed it. I recommend it for costume but not if you're looking for something more realistic to the era. Read more
