These floor mats are worth the money. The locking feature is what I would call similar to Velcro because it keeps the floor mats from sliding around. They don’t budge at all on my 2001 Tacoma PU factory carpet. The only small complaint is the color I bought indicated “light grey” they actually look very light silver to me. Would have matched up a bit better to the factory carpet color if they were a bit darker. I think the Charcol or Dark grey they have looked and would have been to dark. My interior has two different colors anyway which are grey with silver combo. Overall the quality is good and should last for a long time. The interlocking feature is very nice since they don’t have the factory non slipping eyelet hole for attaching it to the floorboard. I looked around for a couple weeks for floor mats that I liked and they are all about $40 $60 or much more on the really heavy duty mats for $100 and up. Read more

These are just ok, basic floor mats. After 2 months of use (08 Toyota Prius) top surface already started to loose density on some heavy spots. "Secure no slip technology" is just a bunch of plastic spikes (just like the other mats have) working ok on car floor but they do not stay in place all the time, you have to re-adjust them frequently. These mats, especially for the price, are an awesome value. If you have some moderate sewing skill, it is fairly easy to modify the shape. Simply unpick the piping on whatever edge you need to change/cut, making sure to unpick it a few inches beyond where you are going to cut. If not on the existing seam, cut the piping about in the middle and swing it out of the way. Cut the mat as needed (heavier scissors worked great for me) then bring the piping back and pin it in place. You may have to trim a bit off of the piping or you can overlap it more, depending on how much you changed. This can easily be accomplished with a standard sewing machine, provided you go slow. In the attached picture, I included both mats I was replacing and the modified new mats. As you can see, the driver's side mat from my Ford Fusion had a spot where the heel wore through the fabric. I made sure the new mat had the rubberized section centered in the same spot and it has worked beautifully since I installed it (and looks SO much better). In our Ford Flex, we had issues with the passenger mat sliding forward a lot and the way these mats grip the carpet has totally fixed the issue. I had to cut a few sections of the mat to get it to fit the floor shape, but both of them look as good as the original. Read more
