Clamp adjustment is difficult

Although this set of nipple clamps is attractive and appealing, it does have a problem. The clamps themselves are designed very simply. There are two wire like parts with a sliding bracket. You are supposed to slide the bracket to adjust the pressure. However, the bracket doesn't slide too easily and, if it did, would not maintain a consistent pressure. The next problem is the small diameter of the wire ends which could be risky, especially as the rubber pads on the ends can simply slide off without much force applied. Overall, I'd say this is not a good example of a product of this type. It needs better clips to fulfill its main function. Something with a screw adjustment and slightly flatter ends would be much better. Read more
