Bought this to hold goodies for a Beach Bachelorette. Very happy with the price point and they were well made. They were a great size girls used them to take in town for shopping and a market day and then they used them as beach bags to hold all their stuff for the beach and they kept items inside dry. I'm going on a cruise with a group of friends and they all want matching t-shirts. I do not wear t-shirts, but I wanted to have something that matched so I purchased this tote and ironed on the decal myself. It think it came out super cute! Tote is a good size for carrying on board, although I wish the straps were slightly longer. I worried about ironing because the tote is lined with plastic, but I just inserted sheets of parchment to keep the insides from touching. I had to use an extra hot iron and go over it several times but it worked out perfectly! I purchased this for the purpose of being a nice, flat, packable beach bag. It is a great size and very sturdy, had no problem holding a large water bottle, 2 towels, tanning lotions, sunglass case, book and a couple snacks. While on vacation, I did use it at the market for soda and beer, along with some produce and snack bars. It held up great! The only down side is it did smell of true burlap. I aired it out for a few days before packing and the smell was still faint, but within 15 minutes at the beach, I couldn't smell it anymore and it didn't transfer to my towels.
