As someone who is really bad at styling my hair, this is fantastic. My brain can't comprehend how to twist hair around a curler, let alone even figure out the whole back of the head situation. This made curling my hair actually achievable, and easy. My wrists weren't strained, and the location of the toggle is pretty intuitive. I wouldn't say the handle feels expensive, but the unit still has a comfortable weight to it, and isn't too top heavy. That being said, it does work very well, the curve of the handle makes it easy to hold and use the toggle, and it does exactly what it's designed to do. Read more

Does the job for less money than others

It's good enough. As others mention, the clip is just a tad short, but that just means you have to put less hair per curl. But the main reason I gave just an average rating is that there is no automatic shut off. I wish it had that. But I bought this at a clearance or sale price and I so rarely curl my hair that I'll just live with that and hope I never leave the house with it still plugged in. Read more
