Oh man where to begin! Well it did take some time to get here but that was NOT the sellers fault, Texas froze over. I opened and immediately saw that this company takes pride in how they package their product it was very nicely done. ALL of my boxes work properly HOWEVER one did come cracked.... But everything else is so perfect I refuse to send it back over that or to take a star away. That's how amazing this bag is!!!! I'm a mail carrier with a 16 mile walking route In Texas and this bag works great for me it's the perfect size with extra pockets to carry all the gear I need for work keeping. However I work in the hot Texas heat with no ac in our llvs so I did have to add some heavy duty ice packs but I've emyet to find a lunch bag that I don't have to do that with because of the extreme temperatures but this is by far my favorite. I was hesitant to buy after reading so many reviews because of the bad ones but I can tell u with ease that I put this bag thru hell every day and fill it to the max to where it is heavy and have had no problems with the bag its built very well and the container is nwra are holding up perfectly, I actually don't understand how one of the kids came cracked because I've stepped on one of my containers and it didn't Crack and still shuts perfectly fine. I take hot bone broth in my 20oz cup holders so I don't have to fuss making it at work. I extra pockets fit the 20oz insulated cups. I also take two water bottles and the mesh pockets fit my Stanley 40oz with handle and my Simple Modern 28 oz/32oz slim bottles. Love these. The containers do seem a little flimsy but so far they work nice. I also like the top zip extra storage area for my bone broth and drink packets and small food containers. The reason I bought this was for the 4 bottle holders so my drinks do not spill in the car or walking into the office. This is a game changer. Love it and would buy again. Why did you pick this product vs others?: After using Duluth's "Karl's" lunch box for a little over a year and it wearing out I was on the hunt for another lunch box (Karl's was discontinued) of equal size, but could keep my personal belongings a little more organized. Storage capacity: The bag definitely seems bigger in the photos than it is in reality. I'd say it's probably 65 to 70% the size of the Karl's lunch box. It holds everything I need to survive a 12-hour shift locked in at a construction site however a little more space would be preferable so my personal belongings aren't as tight and cumbersome to remove. Quality: Very high quality and made well. The fabric is durable and thick. The shoulder strap is nice as well and has comfortable padding. The containers seem perfectly fine so they must have addressed the issues mentioned in prior reviews. Love this bag! I sometimes spend 10+ hours in a car travelling around the state and wanted something to hold my meals and snacks for the entire day and this does exactly that. It holds my two 40oz hydroflasks in the mesh pockets, two shaker cups for protein shakes in the zipper pockets, meals in the middle and snacks/silverware in the top zipper compartment. My food stays cold with the ice packs provided! My only two complaints are this: 1) The meal containers do not latch shut if you don’t use the two smaller compartments in them 2) Fully packed the bag is front heavy and when I try to use the shoulder strap it tips forward. From a mail carrier's perspective, it works great. It’s a little big for our LLVs but it’s got plenty of space for a shaker cup and an energy drink, or tumbler of coffee. Plenty of room to fit gladware or rubber made. Top compartment is good for keys, notebook, pens and such. The top zipper sticks a little , but other than that it’s solid. I spilled coffee all over the top, thinking it was going to stain permanently. Happy to say with some dawn dish soap knockoff brand it cleaned the stain and the smell. The mesh pockets are holding up good but I wouldn’t expect them to last a year the way I best this thing up. So far this is the best lunch box that fits my style. I drive a lot for work so my lunch box is always my co-pilot. There is plenty of room for room food storage and it has plenty of room to hold my hydroflask in the side compartments which is the main thing I was looking for. The media could not be loaded. Have tried at least 5 other cooler bags, most more expensive than this one - none of them compare. I’ve re-purchased this bag twice. The last one held up for 3.5 years. When this one suffers from enough wear and tear, I’ll order another one. Every single day, I pack this bag with: 46oz Yeti, 14oz Yeti, 3-4 three cup Pyrex containers, 20oz shaker bottle, 1 paperback novel, and 1 pair of headphones - with room to spare. I attach carabiner clips and hang my sandals from it when I go to the beach. The clips on the shoulder strap have been improved since the previous generation. It appears the zipper hardware has also been improved (that was the cheapest part of the last generation). I’d trust it to keep food cold for about 5-6 hours on a hot day. I use a Yeti cooler if I’m going out longer than that, but will always transfer food to the bag for ease of transport/access. It’s fit into every gym locker I’ve ever tried to squeeze it into as well. Not always upright, but I can always get it in there if necessary. If you’re serious about bodybuilding, this is THE bag.
