This trimmer set is full of everything you need to keep your beard well maintained, minus any conditioners or shampoos...obviously. There is a base included, if you have the space for it. I do not, so I do not use it. But if I did have the space, I would. I would have preferred a case. The original packaging is ok, that's how I store it. This comes with many guards and some attachments. As for the attachments, I don't care much for them. I think the foil shaver is a gimmick. For me, it did not produce a good shave, maybe for you it will be fine. The small trimmer for "precision" is also not useful for me. Although, it does a good job, it performs well. The "design" trimmer is the most useless for me. I didn't try it. The nose trimmer worked well too, but because I already have a few nose trimmers, I have not gone any further than trying it. I prefer those older manual nose trimmers, the kind that you rotate the handle. The star of this set is the main "full sized" trimmer. It does a very good job on my beard. I have also tried buzzing my head with it, it worked well. Overall this is a good set worth it's cost. Read more

After spending a good amount of time with this trimmer I can tell you that trimmer itself is great. It is very ergonomic, it is satisfying to press the button, the battery display is awesome, trims very effectively, AND you can use it WHILE you charge which is awesome. Unfortunately if you were planning on using this to trim more than just your face, you're going to be disappointed. Only one of the attachments is actually useful, the others all sit very loosely on the trimmer head and wobble all over the place. In fact they are so loose that as you are passing the trimmer over the area, the attachment will frequently fall off, causing you to trim attachment-less over the area resulting in embarassing patches of missing hair. This is completely unacceptable and it seems like a different team with no knowledge of the product dimensions designed those attachments. Horrible. What a shame since the trimmer itself is great. There are many shaving kits available on Amazon. This particular kit is in the "T-Blade" familyand is best suited for functions such as beard/sideburn trimming, shaving the hair on your neck, and body shaving. For shaving the head on top of your head, you'd probably be better off with shavers with a wider head. Contents of this kit: ** Clipper, LCD readout of battery time remaining ** Five black plastic fixed length clipper guards ** Cheap plastic base that can hold the clipper and the accessories. NOT a charging base ** Charging cable ** Clipper oil ** Cleaning brush ** Comb ** Two additional clipper heads with different widths ** Foil shaver attachment ** Nose clipper attachment The base that holds everything is pretty cheap and not all that great--the accessories are not securely held in place and have a tendency to fall out. I doubt anyone would use this long term. The clipper works fine, and is narrow-gapped so you can get close to the skinline if you don't use the length guards. It's not exactly 0-gapped, so you'll want to follow up with a shaver if you want to be clean-cut right down to the skin line. The clipper attachments work well. The nose trimmer also works reasonably well. The foil shaver isn't that great, and while it might work in a pinch, I'd strongly recommend using a dedicated foil (or rotary) shaver instead of this. The different attachments are swapped by pulling the attachment on the clipper backward (away from the front) and then snapping the replacement in place. The attachments use a lot of plastic in their construction (including the locking pin at the base), so I don't expect they will last forever if you do a lot of swapping. The length guides are fine--acceptable quality. On the whole, this is a decent kit if you can get it at a reasonable price. Pros: ** Decent quality clippers ** Clippers and nose trimmer work well ** Includes clipper oil ** Clipper uses standard USB-C charging port Cons: ** Base doesn't hold attachments firmly and is mostly annoying to use ** No travel lockout ** The attachments use a lot of plastic in their construction and I imagine they won't hold up to long term switching ** The foil shaver attachment isn't very effective.
