Love these! I've been wearing Bearpaws for years! I prefer Bearpaw over Uggs because the outer boot is made with cow suede rather than sheep suede. Cow suede is thicker and more resilient and the boots stay newer looking longer and resist tears and holes MUCH better. And, you can get 2 pairs of Bearpaws for 1 pair of Uggs. I bought these here for $67.50 and was the best price I've found. I really like this Ella style because of the meaty sole. It's more functional in slippery weather, and I prefer the look of the rugged sole over the flat one. I wear a 9.5 dress shoe, but wear a 9 in this boot and usually wear them sockless. If you like thick, beefy socks, then you want to size up. The fluff on the inside always feels very snug at first, but conforms to your foot after wear. Love them! Keeps your feet so warm! The only bad thing is that they run small. I order them 1/2 size bigger so I could wear them with my thick socks and I can’t wear thick socks with them. I have another pair of these in black size 9 that I purchased from The Shoe Store and loved them. I ordered the tan from Amazon in a size 9 and they are too tight , narrow and I can’t wear socks with them. The tan are about 1” narrower than the black ones. Too bad there are no half sizes. I am returning these for a credit. I do like the aggressive tread on the tan ones. Read more
