I have had Bearpaw boots my entire life and I STILL have them!! They ugly out before they wear out! My black boots are over 11 years old!!! The color of these purple boots is beautiful! Be aware, the short boots fit differently then the tall boots. The short ones did not work out for me I think because I have thin and long feet. These were a bit too small , needed an 8.5 which they do not have. If you wear 1/2 size get the tall style.i highly recommend the tall Bearpaw boots. I bought an 11 for me and a 10 for my daughter. They fit well in the toe area; however, the heel of this boot is so big/wide that they slip off the heel - so much so that the entire back foot comes out the top when walking.
