Between the work and activities I do, I needed a great case to protect my phone. Having gone thru a lot of cases, I decided to try this case. I just ordered my third case. First case took a direct hit from a piece metal at a very high velocity. Did crack a camera lens but any other case the metal most likely would have penetrated thru the phone. Second case took a very hard hit from the side. Bent the cases metal frame beyond repair. Zero damage to phone. It did its job, protect the phone. It has been dropped it the water many times. No water penetration. Retrieve the phone out of water/mud dry or rinse off and no problems. The only drawback I have with case is the reduction of the speaker volume, but it is a drawback that I can accept. My priority is that the case can taking a licking and my phone keeps ticking. So if you are like me and punisher of phones, this is the case you want. Update 4/25/25- just killed another case but, again, it did its job of protecting my phone. It works better than promised! I even left the glass screen protector on, which is not advisable, but the case is still extra sturdy and waterproof. The reason to remove any screen protectors from the phone aren’t due to a change in the fit or effectiveness of the product, it’s a sensitivity issue. It eventually began to register but it says to remove such items and you really should. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has an iPhone that they want to be overprotective of, lol! This case is a beast, one warning, it’s heavy. I personally like that but others may want to know that before choosing this case. UPDATE: I have had this case for several months now and I still give it a five star review. I haven’t had any sound issues with me hearing or being heard by others, I do think that the magnetic screws interfere with some functions, it’s still heavy but I like that aspect and I still have sensitivity issues because I left on the glass screen protector that was already on my phone. Do not purchase this product. I went with this choice as the good reviews were vast and the negative had only three to be found. That’s pretty good odds on something these days. Well.. you see where I am now. Earlier this week I ordered two of the Beasyjoy Waterproof Cases for iPhone 14. One for my mother and one for myself. They arrived right on time. BUT!! And I say but because the same day I ordered them is the same day I started an Amazon product return for both. 1) The two cases one in yellow, one in red did not come anywhere close to the colors the product shows available. - Not the end of the world. Ok, fine. We can live with this.. 2) the case is a total nightmare to put on. Including the whole needing to screw them in. -well! They are on now! Ok. Well at-least that’s over with 3) The screen protector covers the whole area. -Great! But all I hear now when I type or touch the screen is tap tap tap tap tap like plastic tapped nails on chalkboard. Trust me, I checked. My keyboard sounds are off. The sound quickly wares on your nerves. 4) button, button ok let’s press the side buttons! - Press. Press again. Ok. One more try! There we go after five or more to get the volune buttons or turn off the screen, take a snapshot you name it. 5) The case design is significantly wider than the phone itself. - yeah so no. The case makes my lightest iPhone so far weighted. The case part around the screen is raised more than most covers. So much so that you will fight to type anything without an error in it or hit the back button magically, accidentally send stuff while you are still trying to type. 6) The phone case is scented. -What?!! You mean you didnt buy the product with the smells like week old left out in the rain and then resmoked cigarette butts? Really? I thought this was the new trend! Overall? This review was made after several months of use. Overall: Case is durable, fairly easy to install phone, retained appearance with minimal scratches / dents after heavy use (I work in construction and have farm). It is extremely sound when concerning water and dust with little to no issues. I had to switch due to issues with audio (my hearing is not great and there is loss due to materials along, mic (same as audio), and reception (same as previous two). I did have an issue with the mute button falling off, but I believe that was my obsessive flipping of the switch that made that break / fall off. I would strongly recommend for someone with concerns with water, dust and drop damage. Pros: Easy to install, durable Cons: Restricted audio and reception due to metal casing. Read more

I have had several competing versions and they always got dirty and the rubber rubbed off. This item is so sturdy! I drop my phone all the time. Even IF the paint eventually scratches off, I will keep it because it is very sturdy. A plus for me is that the hand loop goes at the end. I have a service dog and have a tab that I attach to the phone so he can pick it up for me. It makes putting the phone in my pocket easy since the hand loop is at the end. In the past, I have had to use a pop-it in the middle of the phone and have had to put the hand loop around that. It was bulky and hard to put in my pocket. The only criticism is that sometimes when I put the phone in my pocket, it might change the ringer setting. That is very minor to me.
