They work, but not sure if they would leak liquids

I store face moisturizer in these (think the consistency of lotion), and they work really well, but the inside lid has a white plastic-coated paper, and I'm not sure how well that will hold up with the moisture over time. I've yet to test the jars with water, so can't comment on liquids that runny, but I'd be surprised if they could hold water when turned on their side/upside down.
