Just what we needed to break up our “white” bedroom. They are the perfect size for placing on top of a dresser. The storage space is great as well. Can put keys , wallet and change in there if you want. Read more

I keep both of these on my end table in the living room, and I keep the "extra remotes" in them, so they are out of sight, but available in the event I need the "original remote" on occasion. This keeps the clutter to a minimum and keeps my end table looking less like a "man cave" and more like an actual living room! (Also makes people that DON'T know me already think I am "cultured" and reading books on Da Vinci and Picasso! Haha!) These look pretty nice as the "covers" have a cloth linen look to them with gold lettering so from looking at the spine they DO look like real books! Now the "pages" of course don't look like they are paper if someone gets remotely close to them and looks at that part of the "book", but you'd need to actually HOLLOW OUT a REAL book for that kind of look!!! (You'd also never SEE the "pages" if these were placed on a shelf between other books!) At the time of review these were under $15 for the two nesting books on sale and under $18 at regular price. I've seen books like these in "higher end HOME stores" and they were always obscenely expensive and the SAME quality that these are so finding these at this price was amazing to me and recommend this product as they are great IMO. These are very well made. The texture of the outside of the “books” make them seem very realistic. If you wanted to hide valuables in a mix of books on a shelf, these would easily blend in. The fabric is very nice and the embossing is very well done. The “pages” are plain white so if you can see the sides, it would give it away. The boxes themselves are sturdy and would hold a variety of items depending on what you wanted to store — remotes, cords, cash, office supplies, you name it. For $20 regular price you are getting a set of two, so I’d say it’s a decent value because the outside covers are so well done. I don’t know if I’d pay a ton more than that, but I would definitely recommend these. Read more
