I like the strong magnet that consistently keeps it in position on my refrigerator. The width is good for a complex shopping list. I like the subtle colors and generous sheet size. The use of 2 different cardboard types means that each page tears off perfectly and only when I want it to. The price is appropriate for the high quality. I would recommend these for attractive and practical gifts. Of course, the recipient would have to have a steel surface to place theirs on—maybe a file cabinet, vertical shelves, or refrigerator. These are the best lined notepads that I have ever purchased. They are well-made with top-of-the-line paper. A pencil or a pen glides smoothly across the paper. I just received them today and already have had two people ask me where I got them. If you want a good notepad for a grocery list or just to keep notes, you can’t go wrong with these and I will buy them over and over again. Works well, magnet is strong enough to hold in place and pages are perforated for easy tearing. The description included paper weight/thickness which meant nothing to me... and honestly its a little thinner than I'm accustomed to but it still works for grocery lists and note taking. The price/value is good, the magnet appears a bit smaller than it did in the photo... but its appropriate for the weight of the product. I'd give it a 4.5 if the option were available due to paper and magnet, my personal preferences. Read more
