The Beautural Tufts Blue Standard model works as described and does an excellent job of removing lint balls/pilling and vacuuming up the debris. While it does not get as close as a razor blade on some material it does protect the material from damage thanks to the guards that are easily attached. I found the high speed the easiest to use. Batteries are easy to install or remove an improve the value in my opinion since it is one less thing to charge, making this power option ideal for me. My only complaint is the storage bag is undersized for the product and ripped when installing it. Read more
I am very happy with this fabric shaver. I used it on a sweater that is meant to have a slightly worn look, but it had crossed the line into looking too worn out. After using this shaver, the sweater honestly looks like new again. It removed a surprising amount of fuzz and pilling without damaging the fabric. The results were visible almost immediately, and the sweater looks much cleaner and more polished now. The shaver is electric and runs on batteries, which is something to be aware of, but it works well and is easy to use. I like that it has two speed options and comes with replacement blades and a carrying case. Overall, this did exactly what I hoped it would do and saved a sweater I was close to giving up on. This little depiller absolutely delivers. It has 3 settings and has worked well on a variety of fabrics from cottons to stretch leggings and fleeces. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver and makes fixing my clothing a breeze. I keep it next to me while folding laundry and quickly remove any pills and strays with no pulling or tips in fabric. This BEAUTURAL Fabric Shaver is an absolute game-changer, and it has honestly saved both my wardrobe and my furniture. I initially bought it just to tackle my sweaters, which were hopelessly covered in pills, and it makes them look brand new after just one pass. The two-speed setting is perfect, letting me use the gentle speed on delicate knits and the high speed for thicker fabrics. The real win, however, is how well it works on my furniture. My cat views my favorite armchair as her personal scratching post, but this shaver perfectly smooths down those frayed threads and removes the resulting fuzz and lint balls, making the upholstery look immediately cleaner and far less damaged. This doesn't work any better than the little one I bought at a big box store for a third of the price. The suction should be stronger, it kicks lint bits out to the side while doing fleece, then I have to go over them to get them off. I don't need a little brush to clean it (used toothbrushes work fine) or a useless cloth case. I NEED it to be doing the job I bought it for: cutting and sucking in the lint better. It has a hard time with both regular lint balls and with little bits of strings sticking up. The handle has to be held very gently or the battery compartment cover slides off which is irritating because you have to go over and over the same spot for it to get the lint off. It does hold about twice the amount of lint as the smaller version I have, but since it only takes moments to empty both, I'm not finding any extra value for the money. If you have very basic lint, try a lint brush first. This is only marginally better. It will do the same level of effectiveness as a lint brush, but will take 20 minutes longer. I'll give this one away and keep the smaller one. Read more
