I bought this, obviously because I wanted to have my Chapstick readily available and can you bring instead of having to dig for it in my purse. I am so glad I bought these, it holds my Blistex Chapstick perfectly! I have one of them in my key lanyard and it does hold my chapsticks but they do fall out if you place it upside down. I believe it depends on the type of chapstick you have. My daughter received one of these lip balm holders from her friend about a year ago. She has had it clipped on her keychain/lanyard since the moment she got it, and it has held her lip balm firmly in place the entire time. She loved it so much I decided to purchase this multi pack for her for Christmas so she can have many colors to choose from. The lip balm holders in this multi pack are slightly different from the original holder she received from her friend. Her original holder was open ended on both ends which would allow her to use a standard size lip balm or a larger/longer lipgloss. The holders in this multi pack are sewn shut on the bottom end. I guess this would help prevent the lip balm from slipping out of the bottom of the holder (however, my daughter didn’t experience this problem with her open ended holder). Other than the open end vs. close end difference, the quality and feel of the holders in this multi pack are similar to the quality and feel of the holder my daughter has used for the past year. It is easy to insert a standard sized lip balm into the holder. After the lip balm has been inserted, the holder holds it firmly in place. The clip is plastic, but feels durable. Read more

This was an instant and inexpensive hit with all of the friends I have gifted it to for holiday 2020. Especially men. People who use lip balms often misplace them. This is such a simple and great solution. A guy asked where he could clip it and my suggestion was his keys. I hope it doesn't become a mess for him.
