Now my aquatic sartorial prayers have been answered, and I’m excited to report that this one checks all the boxes. When I put it on for the first time, I did a little happy dance! The girls = lifted. The waist = snatched. The leg opening is just right, neither too high nor too low. The alluring mesh inserts are sexy and don’t squeeze my skin out like a pasta machine, lol. The panels create a corset-like effect that accentuates my curves while holding in my stomach, which is not an easy task! It is at a higher price point, but when it comes to swimsuits, you get what you pay for. The quality is exceptional. Every detail, from the delicate mesh to the velvet boning on the insides, has been meticulously designed and constructed. It’s clear that the design team paid close attention to not only the outside of the suit but also the interior components. This isn’t a suit I’ll wear for just one summer and then toss out. It’s an investment piece that I will enjoy for years to come. For size reference, I’m 185 LBS and 5’4”. The size 0X works well for me. Initially, it’s was a little hard to get over my hips and tight in the middle because of the paneling. But it’s actually a good thing because it holds everything in and defines my waist. Okay, so I was honestly nervous ordering this because I’m short (5'0") and curvy (170 lbs), and swimsuits are usually a pain to find. But this one actually surprised me...in a good way! First off, it looks really cute on. The crochet parts are stylish but not too revealing, and I love how it shapes my waist. It made me feel confident, which is HUGE for me in a swimsuit. It holds my stomach in a bit too, which I liked. Also, the material feels really nice...like, not cheap or thin at all. Here’s the not-so-fun part: it was kind of hard to get on. Like, I had to wiggle and adjust a lot to get it over my thighs and hips. Once it’s on though, it fits great and is actually comfy. Also, I wish it lifted my chest more...it kinda pulls down a little, which made me feel a bit self-conscious at first. Not a deal breaker, but just something to know. Overall, I like this swimsuit. I got the smallest size. I am 5 ft 5 inches and 164 lbs. It fits well. Three things I would improve would be... 1) I wish it held in my tummy more 2) I feel like it pulls my chest down instead of lifting 3) It exposes more of my cleavage than I would like through the lace (I feel like this would be improved if it wasn't pulling my chest down like I said). I like the lace, and the swimsuit feels good while wearing it. The material and swimsuit appear to be good quality. I love that they use realistic models that aren't overly photoshopped in the product photos. My husband saw me when I tried it on, and he said he likes it too. I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I was sitting down to write my review and looked at the pictures of this and realized that's not the swimsuit I received! With that being said, the one I received was very cute and it fits very well. Cute swimsuit! I love the crochet detailing but got nervous putting it on because I grabbed it from the crochet part and pulled up and I could've sworn I ripped it or damaged it, but the material is so sturdy there was no visible damage at all even after my rough handling of it! It fits well; it provides some tummy control but is still very comfortable. The fit is flattering especially with the peek a boo pieces with the crochet lacing throughout.
