This little helper is amazing! No more lifting heavy mattresses. I read other reviews and was fairly confident that it will work, but wow it does work! yes, my bed frame is just a finger-with lower then the mattress, so it slides really easy under and lifts just enough to add the sheets. This little helper is definitely worth its money. It's sturdy plastic and easy to use. A little back saver. Now I am not so opposing to change my sheets anymore! I should have found this when the kids were little! Great buy! But be aware about how your mattress sits in the frame. If you have a lip, you might be able to use it as a fulcrum, but it might make marks on the bed frame from the torque pressure. This is a great product for the money. I bought this for my mom who has server Rheumatoid Arthritis and has a very heavy mattress. So she needs something to help lift up the mattress and these are thick enough to do that. She can put on the fitted sheet and then drop the mattress and then use these to tuck in the blankets without lifting the heavy mattress these work great because of how they fit and take the stress and weight off the person trying to lift the heavy mattress and now they don't have to! These are a little heavy/bulky. It is hard to wedge under the mattress especially is you have a bedskirt. Then it pulls the skirt up under the mattress. Also if you have a head- and/or footboard these won’t work. Maybe there should be some kind of way to have the handle come up in a 90 degree angle, then depending on how much space you have between the mattress and the board it could work. Read more

This mattress lifter is HUGE, but SO helpful and easy to use. I did see the dimensions, 16"L, but didn't expect it to be so thick in addition to being that long. Wish these were available in white. I also have the bed sheet tucker, which is a completely different shape and just as helpful. I do not often write reviews, but this product is absolutely amazing! I am a senior, living alone, who had back surgery in September. I was at a loss as to how I was going to manage bed making on my own. This product has saved the day! It is sturdy but lightweight and easy to handle. My mattress sits on top of a bed frame that requires no foundation; it sits on horizontal metal rails. If your bed is also a platform style, just make sure you insert the mattress lifter on top of a slat (wood or metal), angle slightly upward, and push in until the handle meets the mattress. Voila! Your mattress is lifted a few inches off the platform and you can easily use your two free hands to put on or take off the fitted sheets. What a BACK saver! I also love that it is. Are in the USA. If you have a cover or bed skirt on a box spring or foundation below your mattress this item is hard to use. You have to still lift your mattress up. A little high priced for what it is, I returned mine, just wasn't as functional as I had hoped. Not for me anyway. Read more
