We have a split king adjustable bed using 2 twin mattresses. We changed our sheets today and this little tool was a real helper. It quickly tucked the sheets under the mattress and did a better job than I do by hand. We have one particular set of sheets with a very long top sheet. It typically pulls out at the bottom even though it is extra long because we never get it tucked under very deeply. This little tool was much easier to tuck it under farther than usual. That is helpful with an adjustable bed because the movement disrupts the sheets so much. It was also useful for me to tuck the twin sheets between the two mattresses. I was never able to do a very good job of that. It is tough to squeeze my hand in the tight space between the two mattresses and I wasn't really able to get the sheets the whole way down. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, which means I don't have much energy to spare and feel pain a little more quickly than others. I also just got a new 17" queen mattress. Putting sheets on exhausts me. By the time I should be tucking in sheets, I'm too tired and cut corners; that means my sheets are more prone to coming off. But with this new mattress, it's also just much heavier than my old one and more likely to have sheets come off while I sleep. I really need to tuck them for it but dislike the hand pain that comes with it. This thing helped. My sheets fit mattresses up to 22" I think, so there was plenty of loose fabric gathering at the base of the bed. I'd put the end of the tool on the fabric and push under the mattress until I could feel the fabric was no longer both above and below it (when no more material needed to go under). It was much quicker than doing it by hand for me and looked much nicer than the few times I tried doing it myself. I think of this as more a tool for people with physical limitations rather than something able-bodied people will want. $7.99 for an assistive device is pretty fantastic! But, if you don't actually need it, this thing is kind of bulky and probably not something you want to bother with. The plastic is thick enough that I don't worry about it snapping or anything... It seems pretty durable, except for a thinner piece that I think is supposed to be used to secure a shorter, more snug-fitting sheet than I use to the tucker. *That* I could see snapping or just being lost pretty quickly. This has been a miracle tool for me already. My husband and I had to start sleeping separately years ago, but we did not want to be in separate rooms. We had a very large bathtub that neither of us liked, so we converted the space into another bed so that we could still sleep in the same room. Despite making it very comfortable, this bed is a pain to make, and it hurts my hands every time I have to tuck the sheets against the wall. I just made the bed in minutes with this tucking tool. I didn’t have to use or hurt my hands at all! I know it’s not likely for many to have my situation, but I am eternally grateful for this tool. I do have to agree with another reviewer that the end feels a bit sharp. I am worried it could possibly tear fabric so I will probably try to put some electrical or duct tape over the end to blunt it and protect the bedding.
