My grandfather recently went on hospice. Thr hospice team setup a hospital bed in the livingroom for him, they do not provide sheets or pillow cases. My grandmother did home health care for over 20 years and wanted these total encasement sheets. The hospice mattress is a twin XL and is 6inch thick. I looked at alot of other brands but most were for much thicker mattresses so I ordered this one. It was really easy to put on, I had no problems doing it by myself on his little twin xl. The material is really soft and feels cool to the touch which he really liked because he gets hit flashes. It doesn't have any of the loud sounds that normal water proof covers and pads have. He and my grandmother are completely happy with it and want me to order more so they have them on hand. I took one star off only because I specifically searched and ordered the 6in deep mattress encasement cover because I wanted it to not be loose and bunching up under him and while this one fits decently its not really tight, or fitted and has probably an extra 1.5 maybe alittle more of slack in it so definitely not a perfect fit but they are happy so thats all that matters to me Read more

I was looking at all the department stores and even Walmart and they did not have anything zippered for the price or material I wanted. I’m glad I went to Amazon because I found exactly what I wanted and the price was amazing. There is really no smell. You don’t hear the material when you move around.
