Thicker and fluffier than a rug, not as thick as a full-fledged bed, they are comfortable in dog crates or on the floor. Our dogs actually seem to prefer these to the thicker beds we have, and they haven't torn them up yet. We bought two for each crate so we can rotate them out every week or so to wash them. So far they are holding up well. They are a good value, too. My only complaint is that they are somewhat time-consuming to unpack because they are vacuum packed, then wrapped in tape and another bag, then boxed. This mat will not hold up. The fabric is so thin and cheap. The amount of stuffing is sufficient, but the cover is easily chewed or scratched open. I won't repurchase this one. I prefer the ones with plush furry covers. This is more like a cheaper, smooth microfiber. On the plus side, it should wash easily. Read more

My dog Andre, loves this bed he likes to carry push it around. The bed serves as his out door “place” as he thinks his tush is too good to sit on cement. After reading all the great reviews about this dog bed it ended up being all Cons for me and I returned it. Con 1: The sizing is inaccurate and too small for my 6mo golden’s crate. The base of my dog’s crate is 36x23in so I ordered the 35x22in expecting it to fit perfectly in the hard rubber base tray which also measures 35x22in. The bed ended up being 30x19.5in. Con 2: The soft fabric top cover is micro fleece which if you’re not familiar with micro fleece it attracts everything and does not hold up well with repeated laundering. I put the bed it the dryer on low heat per the sellers instructions to fluff it up after removing it from the vacuum sealed packaging. When I took it out the entire top cover had pilled. It immediately attracted dog hair and showed every bit of debris. After washing and drying the bed in the hopes of cleaning it I had to use a lint brush to remove the hair and everything else that stuck to it. I don’t recommend this dog bed at all due to the inaccurate sizing and poor quality materials. There are better quality beds in a similar price range made with better materials. Read more
