I read all reviews on all sheets that were made of bamboo - or partial bamboo after reading what kind of sheets were the softest. I finally decided on this one and am so happy I chose it. I chose the platinum/silver color and love it. The sheets are so soft...the softest sheets that I have ever had. I am very picky when it comes to sheets. I returned 1000 count sheets from a store recently because I did not find them soft enough. These sheets are SO very soft. I am pregnant and needed something very comfortable and able to keep me cool. Although these sheets are not as cool as I thought they might be, I don't care. They are so soft and feel like very good quality. My husband even commented on how soft they are and he barely notices anything. I do have to say that they wrinkle easily - but I do not mind wrinkles. The softness makes up for any flaws they might have. I am very satisfied with the sheets! Oh, and the fitted sheets fit well on my double padded king size mattress. They do not pull up like my old sheets did. When I first washed these sheets, I was a little nervous about them after taking them out of the wash to put in the dryer - they felt very stiff. *Update. I bought these sheets almost 2 years ago (April 2012). It is now February 3, 2014. Last night I was putting the sheets back on the bed after washing and noticed a small rip (about the size of a dime) near the corner seam of the fitted sheet. I was trying to put the sheets on quickly before bed and didn't give it too much attention. However, I am a little surprised to see that already. I do wash the sheets weekly and only have one set, so they get constant use. I still really love the sheets so will probably get another set. I would have expected them to last longer though. --------------------------------------- Just got these sheets and used them on the bed for the first time last night. First off, they are incredibly soft. It is hard to describe it, you just can't compare it to cotton. It is a different feeling. Even my husband said several times how soft/nice the sheets are. I got the ivory and I actually wouldn't really call it ivory. It is a light color and certainly not white but the color is hard to describe. Pale, pale "greige" gray/beige? I'm not sure that's right either. A pale sand? Maybe a very pale "linen" would best describe it. Regardless, it is pretty. I like it a lot. It is just not really a true ivory. The only potential negative I see right now is I washed them once right out of the package according to the directions and it appears they are going to be quite susceptible to wrinkles. Right out of the dryer one of the pillowcases had deep wrinkles in it (it's possible it was stuck inside one of the sheets while tumbling). These are definitely sheets you'll have to put on the bed immediately after the dryer stops or the wrinkles will set. Also they seemed a little thinner than the sateen cotton sheets I had on my old bed. I got a CA king size due to a new mattress purchase, and it fits great. So far (after one night) I love them! This is second set of Bedvoyage bamboo sheets that my husband and I have purchased. These sheets are incredible. They launder like a dream. They are enormous, which I love because there is plenty of sheet material to drape over the bed, over our bodies, while still allowing ample sheet material to cover up with. We are never fighting each other for some more sheet like we do at time with other sheets that are barely wide enough to cover the top of the mattress! I am also a hot sleeper. I tend to get hot easily throughout the night. Even with these sheets, I still get hot easily throughout the night. But the difference is that with these sheets, all I have to do is either move to a different spot on the bed for just a few minutes, or get up from the bed for just a few minutes, and the sheets cool off so quickly. I also love the way the fabric DRAPES over you while you sleep. The fabric sort of just lightly melts over you...it's very flowy and luxurious in that way. The fabric is not heavy or stiff. We have had our other set for well over a year and they launder well...we dry them in the dryer and they have not pilled up in the least. We are careful not to use dryer sheets with these sheets. I love bamboo sheets but these sheets did not impress me. #1: We ordered Ivory and received a greenish white sheet set - I guess that's there Ivory? #2 They wrinkle so fast you cant get them from the dryer to your bed without wrinkles - impossible. #3 They do not wick away moisture as indicated - you can see it on the sheets after they are washed. My husband purchased these as a gift for me and we have had them 2 weeks. We have washed them correctly and can say they do get softer with additional washes. Unfortunately I am returning these for a refund as the Cons outweigh the Pros. Read more

I've had my Bed Voyage King White sheet set almost two years now. It's still cool, silky and strong, but no matter what I try, it's not white anymore. In fact, it went from white to grey since the first couple weeks of use and has never been white since. Normal body oils seem to significantly darken this material and no amount of OxiClean or Oxgen Bleach has returned them to white. There is an extreme difference between the sides of the fitted sheet which are still white and the top which is now grey, even when freshly washed. If I could find a cleaning solution that works, I'd give them 5 stars but in their darkened stained state, I'd give them 2-3. Read more
