This was much easier then I first thought. I was able to fill in my first set of these builder gel/poly gel nails. I have an electric file/sander. That made things much easier. I bought a UV pen light. This works very good, but takes longer. First time I filled my nails, I took my time and was ok with drying them one at a time. I doubt I will ever have the speed of the salon workers. It takes practice. The gel is sticky and doesn't always spread the way you want it to. If I applied it a little too thick, I was able to file it away. Overall, I am happy with this product. The cost was very reasonable and it helped me between fill appointments. Get the pen UV light. It makes things so much easier for beginners. Also, I tried this on my toes. I made big toenails from the gel that turned out great. The UV pen definitely came in handy with the toes! Read more
tried the Beetles Builder Gel for Nails 3-color 9-in-1 extension kit, and overall I’m really impressed. The gels are smooth, easy to work with, and self-level nicely, which makes shaping and building extensions much simpler—even for someone who isn’t a professional. I also like that the kit includes clear, nude, and pink shades, so you have good basic options for natural-looking nails. This kit is incredible. I’ve been getting my nails done at the salon for a few months now and it’s just gotten way too expensive to keep up. I am obsessed - the builder gel is easy to work with and I like that it’s transparent so I can add a gel polish on top. i'm a beginner at diy extensions and have tried a few different gels and have struggled with every single one of them to do proper 3d lines. the consistency of this gel is absolutely perfect! it sticks to the brush like honey. it still definitely takes practice and i have go in with multiple layers (curing in-between each layer) but i am able to achieve the cleanest, thickest and juiciest 3d lines i ever have. 😮💨🤌🏻 i only wish it was a no wipe! leaves a very sticky layer after curing that needs to be wiped clean with alcohol before top coating. while i don't plan to use it as a builder on top of my natural nails, i can definitely feel the durability. it cures completely clear and rock solid. Looks nice once finished but as soon as you remove the foil from the gel containers the product begins to harden. Thus, making it harder to use. Read more
