Reviewing 2 sets

Lisa Mβ€”November 20, 2025βœ“ Verified purchase

Autumn Prism: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I absolutely love this jelly set. It goes on smoothly and has a crystal-like finish. All of the swatches in the photos had 2 coats, which didn't surprise me for the darker colors but even the yellow was perfect after only two. I feel like sometimes with jelly polishes, they are either too opaque/milky, or way too light and streaky, even with many coats, but this set looks perfect after two, in my opinion. I love the autumn shades, and the bottles are certainly an upgrade from the smaller, black, plastic ones. These are better quality and more durable. As well as slightly larger. Very pleased with the set. Brilliant velvet: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 As for the 'brilliant velvet' cat eye polish set, while I love the colors and think they are very pretty, I felt like it was difficult to get the cat eye effect. Im not sure if the magnet included just isn't strong enough, or if the gel polish is too thick, but getting the magnetic particles to move around wasnt happening as easily as it should have... or as well as some other brands. It isn't awful or anything, just not quite a 5 star set. Still, considering the price, it wasnt a terrible purchase. Also, this set has the black plastic bottles that I mentioned before. So, lesser quality in that regard. Read more

Beautiful vivid colors

Nova Starrβ€”February 8, 2026βœ“ Verified purchase

The media could not be loaded. The colors are beautiful. This is my second time making and doing my own nails with gel polish. The application was very easy, sure the magnet took a bit to figure out how to make the "cats eye" and sort of "cosmic" effect on my nails but oh my goodness are they amazing quality. Read more

Very sparkley

Carlyβ€”January 7, 2026βœ“ Verified purchase

This might be one of my favorite sets from beetles. These colors are gorgeous. True to color I just feel they’re a little more vibrant. There were no leaking bottles in the package and they are perfect consistency. If you use the 3 coats it recommends, the polish is perfectly opaque and has such a beautiful color. I plan to buy another set for a family member! The color from this pack is the one on my middle finger.. and perfectly matches a solid color I have from another pack. Read more

Beware of Shade 322 (Glitter Red/Burgundy)

Jen S.β€”December 31, 2022βœ“ Verified purchase

I started doing my own gel manis at home probably a year ago. I don’t have training or experience beyond reading and watching YouTube videos. Until recently, that’s never been a problem. I have also used this brand before. I have a cotton candy colors set from them and the pinks in it are my default. My experience with that set was specifically why I bought this set from them when I wanted Galaxy colors. I tend to stay with the same brands once I find one that works for me because I have allergies to everything. When it comes to cosmetics, anything scented gives me hives and sometimes dyes/ pigments make me break out in a rash. Most metals make me break out in a rash too. i.e. If I put coins in my pocket for more than a couple minutes, you’d literally be able to look at my leg and be able to tell me what coins were there based on the shape of the rashes. I say all this first because I had a very very bad experience with the red color included in this pack. I can’t wholly fault the brand and you may not have the same experience because I’m obviously coming from a unique place, but I think this warning needs to be out there. My first couple manis from this set involved the black and one of the rainbow glitter colors on top. It turned out awesome and each lasted 1-2 weeks. The only thing I realized after was that the black rod that came in the package was a magnet. It’s unmarked and there are no instructions. I was a little bummed I didn’t catch that and had hoped to try again later to get results like the pics, but I may have thrown out the magnet thinking it was packaging. lol Oops. Looked great regardless though - got so many compliments. Then, the red happened. I did up a mani that had the black as a base and the red over the top. My nails felt weird after but I was in a rush and left home. Within an hour or so, my fingers were throbbing. As the night wore on, the pain became excruciating. When I got home, I started looking up what it could be. Did I overfill? If so, was it better to remove it? Did I file my nails too thin? If so, I needed to leave it. Was I having an allergic reaction? If so, I needed to remove it. I decided to remove it. For the next 24 hours or so, I maxed myself out on Tylenol and ibuprofen, plus covered my hands in a numbing spray. I was literally shaking from the pain in spite of this. I could not function. About two days after, the bruises started appearing. All of my nails had severe bruising or bleeding under them. It was about three days after before I could function again and more than a week before the pain faded into the background. To me, that meant I’d probably overfilled. That I’d applied it too thick and that my nails had been pulled up from the beds during curing. I was wrong, but I only knew that because I was stupid enough to apply the red a second time… this time, I literally only used one coat. It was the basecoat and topcoat I always use and a layer of the red that was so thin I could see through it. The same thing happened again. However, I was able to remove it within about three hours of application and was more aware of the symptoms - it started as an itch - like the strongest itch ever that started at the tips of my fingers and radiated down my hands. There was pain too, but the itch was predominant in that phase. Because of this, I took a large dose of Benadryl along with pain meds when I removed the polish. There was damage/bruising and lasting pain after, but it was nowhere near what I felt the first time. I am not having issues with other polishes or gels. This is specific to shade 322. I strongly suspect something in this gel triggered my allergies and caused inflammation bad enough to start separating my nails from the nailbeds, and I know that I’m unique in my allergies and extreme reactions to products. Because of that and the fact that I’ve had good experiences with this brand, and even other colors in this set, I’m not giving it 1 star - I’m not even sure why this shade is a problem - but I do think others need to be aware. If you have allergies like I do, stay away from that red. And, if others start to mention reactions to the red as well, it may be something everyone needs to avoid. Read more
