Has an attached handle, a clipped shoulder strap and 2 small side pockets. The pics show the space available. Those are 2 small soda bottles, then 2 sandwiches on top, and there's room for a snack. I bought 3 frozen cooler packs, put 2 on the sides and 1 on top. I packed it at 6am and everything was still cool at 2pm.
