These towels are thin. If you prefer thick & plush, these aren't for you. I like thin towels especially for my hair. I can wrap it up & I don't have to fight to keep it from falling. I put these through the wringer when they were delivered because the return window is so short. I always wash & dry new towels a couple of times when I get them because they put off so much lint & dye. I sent these through probably seven cycles because I wanted to see how they would hold up because of how thin they are. They put off more lint than I'm used to but the color stayed true. I even yanked on the edges of some of them to test the strength. They seem like good towels & I've been using them for a couple weeks now. I bought this color & the teal. This is my 2nd time ordering these this week! I'm an American USA size L and 5'8" in height with a longer than average torso, and larger than average chest. I can wear a size either way depending on the brand. I don't consider myself fat, but my regular towels do. These "Xl towels" or Turkish towels are to me "Adult Bath sized Towels". "Baby shower gift". "Anniversary present" "Mothers Day Gift" "Home necessity". This is the towel that fits the way a towel should. I bought one as a birthday gift for my mom-she is shorter than me and she loves it! It is so nice to have a bath towel that I can wrap around my whole chest, roll, and the towel stay put. These towels look and absorb the same if not better than our department store towels. They feel a little thinner, but I like that because it keeps it light enough to walk around in. We ordered sets of these "xl towels" from a few different stores. They were very similar in great size and quality. We machine washed and dried all of the towels with laundry detergent to remove excess lint before use. I do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets with towels. I plan to order more as gifts. These towels are perfectly serviceable. They absorb fine, they handle machine washing okay, and they have a nice color that doesn't bleed in the wash. That said, they're pretty thin, and they're indeed spa quality in the sense that it feels like you're using towels at a business that can't afford to get the sort of towels people would get for themselves in their own homes. They're a bit rough, but I'm perfectly happy to get these for the price and I'm perfectly happy to keep them as spare towels. Read more

I bought these for my ex husband and son's house. I had another brand ordered but returned them for this choice. Was that ever a good choice. Recently showered there and used them. The softest towel I have ever used in many years! By far a great choice and great price! One other note, the wash cloth, I used it 2 times a day apart. So it dried in between. Still the same soft cloth when I used it the second time without a wash in between. Read more

I ajve had this towel set for 2 years now. Unfortunately I didn't have the circumstances to get other ones. However do not buy these, they are thin and not great quality they leave little fibers all over everything when used even after washing over and over and over again. The feel like rough plastic and not spa quality. They absorb fine and the length is fine as well. The washing quality is give or take, made some of them shrink and others were fine. Read more
