We can safely assume that Apple wouldn't feature products in their website that would reflect negatively on them. Belkin collaborates closely with Apple, designs their products to meet Apple's stringent specifications, quality and safety requirements. I've never had an issue with a Belkin product, have come to trust them over a very long period of time. It performs flawlessly and as advertised. It doesn't generate as much heat others I've used which is an indicator that it's efficient and well designed. Great price too. It's an ok charger. 1) My chromebook does not consider it a Fast Charge though. 2) The AC plugs could be slightly thicker. It has a tendency to come loose in from the plug. Every couple of days I have to push it the rest of the way into the AC outlet. Not a bad charger, just not GREAT. Read more

I picked this up to use with my watch winders that have USB power cables. I put them on a timer using a KASA WiFi surge protector (this way the LED lights in the winders don’t stay on 24/7). While there are USB ports in the surge protector, they are not WiFi controlled. I went with Bellingham because I wanted a brand I could trust so I wouldn’t have to worry about the overheating horror stories that you read in some of the reviews.
